Dougal Hargreaves writing in this months Pediatrics highlights that young people who don't get the healthcare they need (for example, due to lack of yp-friendly services, poor health engagement, high cost, or for any other reason) have worse health outcomes in adulthood than controls (after adjusting for sociodemographics, insurance coverage and baseline health status).  This data and analysis is another important peice in the jigsaw to make the case for greater investment in health services for young people.
