Teenagers being groomed as the next generation of alcohol consumers

In an impassioned editorial in the BMJ Gerard Hastings and Nick Sheron summarise the evidence that young people are exposed to more alcohol marketing than older adults and that they appear to have been targeted by exposure to alchopops marketing. They call for a complete ban on alcohol advertising and sponsorship and suggest that self regulation by the alcohol industry has been unsuccessful.
