Youth Mental Health – what role for Primary Care?

Registration is open for this is one-day conference for GPs, practice nurses, service users, researchers, mental health practitioners, psychiatrists, policy-makers, commissioners, and anyone else with an interest in this area. This multifaceted event will provide a forum for discussing the latest research, sharing best practice examples, reflecting on real life experiences, and considering how to best manage some of the challenging issues which both young people and primary care professionals face. The themes for the day will be early detection and management, the interface between primary and secondary care, the role of technology, and suicide prevention.
