As members of the RCPCH Consultation Panel with an interest in Neurology, Community Child Health or General Paediatrics, we invite you to apply to represent the College at a scoping workshop for the clinical guideline on Headaches. The meeting is due to take place in London on 7th July 2010.
The scoping process (including this meeting and the subsequent draft scope consultation) defines the populations and treatments that will be covered by the guideline, and thus it is essential that paediatricians with the relevant knowledge and experience can attend the meeting and input into the process. CPD points are available for the time taken to attend and subsequently feed back any issues to the College.
As a stakeholder, the College may send 1 representative to this workshop. Should you attend, we will request feedback after the meeting and contact you throughout the guideline development to ensure your contributions are taken into account. Reasonable travel and subsistence costs are covered by NICE.
To nominate yourself, please complete the attached nomination form and return to by 18th June 2010. Should there be a high level of interest in attending, we will select the most suitable representative based on the criteria in the form.
