Department of Health consults on You're Welcome

posted 1 Feb 2015, 14:36 by Damian Wood
The Department of Health You’re Welcome quality criteria lay out a set of non-mandatory standards for delivering young person friendly health services. They are designed to be used by health services themselves to assess how well their provision meets the needs and preferences of young people.

The National Children's Bureau are inviting structured feedback via surveys from:
  • Services: About how You’re Welcome is being used; modifications that may have been made; alternative standard setting frameworks that may be in place; and why services may have ceased to use the tool
  • Commissioners: About the use of You’re Welcome in contract specifications; and what alternative standards may be being used
  • Young People: About their experience of You’re Welcome
They are being invited to complete a survey to help inform a review of The Department of Health You’re Welcome quality criteria for delivering young person friendly health services. Please complete and/or share the surveys with relevant colleagues, contacts and networks.
The surveys will close on 12th February 2015.
