The YPHSIG conference is held each Autumn in the first or second week of October and we are now planning our fifth annual meeting to be held in 2012. The conference is a time to network with other professionals who are taking the lead in developing health services for young people or training in adolescent medicine. At the conference you will hear about the latest developments and we hope the programme will fulfill your CPD needs in adolescent health. We are always looking for great speakers, venues and new ideas - so if you are a YPHSIG member and have an idea for the conference or are interested in being part of the team organising the conference please contact the YPHSIG convenor Damian Wood or any member of the YPHSIG steering committee.

YPHSIG Conference - Kelham Island Museum, Sheffield 2011 This year's conference was a great success and built on the progress made over the last four years in bringing together paediatricians, GPs and physicians from all specialities who work with young people along with colleagues from nursing and allied health professions as well as other interested groups.
This year's conference was held in the City of Steel and the theme was New Directions: Improving Outcomes for Young People with Long Term and Life Limiting Conditions. The speakers were excellent and made for two fantastic days of learning, professional development and networking. Copies of many of the presentations and workshops are available to download. We will publish our detailed feedback and evaluation when it becomes available. Thanks to all who participated and a special thanks to those involved in the organisation.
We hope to see you all next year - if you would like advance information reagarding the 2012 conference and other YPHSIG events then why not join our group?
